Head of Damai Cartenz Operations Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani in his statement said the activity was led by the Head of the ODC KBP Wahyu Action Task Force involving joint personnel of the Gakkum ODC Task Force, the ODC Action Task Force, and the Nabire Police.

One of the perpetrators, Suplianus Bagau alias Siprianus Weya alias Supli (31), was presented directly to demonstrate his role with a number of witnesses.
The murder case occurred on Wednesday (13/8/2025) at around 08.45 WIT. The perpetrators led by Aibon Kogoya were divided into three groups. The first group consisted of YM, YW and KM in charge of shooting Brigpol M Arif Maulana.
The second group consisted of TG and Suplianus Bagau (suspects who had been arrested) in charge of shooting Brigadier Nelson C Runaki.
The third group directly led by Aibon Kogoya and HM is tasked with monitoring the situation around the road construction site and excavators.
From the results of the reconstruction carried out, it was known that after the shooting, the perpetrators also confiscated AK-101 and AK-47 firearms and body vests belonging to the victims. In addition, the perpetrators also had time to make a video of their statement at the emergency camp recorded by the suspect Suplianus Bagau.
The reconstruction process took place with tight security, involving 15 tactical vehicles, 24 long-barreled weapons, as well as body vest equipment and combat helmets.
"This reconstruction is an important part of the investigation process to strengthen legal evidence. This reconstruction was carried out to ensure the role of each perpetrator and strengthen the evidence in the murder of two Brimob personnel. We ensure that the legal process runs according to procedures and is transparent," said Brigadier General Faizal.
The Cartenz Peace Task Force is committed to enforcing the law and providing a sense of security to the community.

After the reconstruction, the suspect Suplianus Bagau was again secured to the Nabire Police Rutan.
