There were also existing recipients who had been suspended, but passed the results of matching and updating data as many as 40 people, consisting of KLJ 36 people, KAJ 2 people, KPDJ 2 people.

"PKD social assistance is distributed in stages starting Monday, August 25, 2025, with a value of IDR 300,000 per month. The funds disbursed are top ups for the August 2025 period," Iqbal said in his statement, Wednesday, August 27.

For beneficiaries only in 2025, continued Iqbal, currently the account opening and distribution of ATM cards are still being carried out for 38,958 people until August 30, 2025. The summons process is carried out in two stages, namely the first invitation on August 8'30, 2025 and the second invitation is scheduled for September 2025 for recipients who have not been present.

Furthermore, Iqbal explained that the distribution of PKD social assistance was an effort by the DKI Provincial Government to help meet the needs of vulnerable people's lives.

This social assistance is a form of concern and responsibility from local governments in easing the burden on the community, especially the elderly, early childhood, and people with disabilities. We hope this assistance can help meet daily needs while improving the quality of life of beneficiaries," he explained.

KLJ, KAJ, and KPDJ recipients must be registered in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS). However, currently the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia has closed the DTKS registration feature because it has transformed into National Socio-Economic Single Data (DTSEN), according to the Regulation of the Minister of Social Affairs Number 3 of 2025 concerning the Update and Use of Socio-Economic Single Data, Social Empowerment, and the Social Welfare Implementation Program.

In the future, the determination of social assistance recipients will be based on the status rating of welfare or decile in DTSEN. If there are residents whose deposits are not in accordance with factual conditions, have not been recorded, or do not have a decile, then data updating will be carried out according to the policies of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government," explained Iqbal.

Iqbal claimed that the DKI Provincial Government continues to validate data so that the distribution of social assistance is more targeted and transparent. He also invited the community and regional apparatus from the city/district level to RT/RW to actively participate in reporting if there were still residents who were entitled but had not received assistance.

"With the distribution of this social assistance, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government hopes that the welfare of the people can continue to improve, so that a strong, safe and prosperous city can be created for all its citizens," he added.
