"We found eight bullet casings and 1 projectile and it is suspected that it came from the Timor Leste Border Police or Unidade De Patrulhamento Da Fronteira (UPF) weapon," he said in Kefa, TTU Regency, Tuesday, which was confiscated by Antara.

He said that based on the testimony of Indonesian witnesses at the location, about 8 gunshots were heard. This is in accordance with the findings of a number of bullet casings at the crime scene.

As a result of the shooting, a resident named Paulus Kaet Oki suffered a gunshot wound to his right shoulder.

"As a result of the shot, a resident suffered a gunshot wound and penetrated to the right shoulder," he said.

He also said that after being shot, the victim was immediately evacuated to a nearby hospital for medical assistance.

Furthermore, he said in the clashes, there were 24 Indonesian citizens involved, while from Timor Leste there were 7 Unidade De Patrulhamento Da Fronteira (UPF) personnel armed with long-barreled weapons.

Currently, the security conditions in the border area, he said, are conducive, after the security forces and Forkompimda came down directly to quell the clashes on Monday (25/8) yesterday.
