According to him, the honorary Star award is a form of state and government recognition of the existence of the DPD RI institution as a legislative institution in the Indonesian state administration system.
"We dedicate this star of the Republic of Indonesia to the institutions and all members of the DPD RI. Of course this award is our own moral responsibility to continue to provide the best for society and the nation," said the former deputy governor of Bengkulu.
The Sultan further explained that his party will continue to encourage the strengthening of the DPD RI institution and improve the performance of institutions in the legislative sector. Senators in the DPD RI are always active in providing assistance and advocacy for community problems, as well as intensely providing political education to the younger generation of Indonesia in the regions.
"In principle, the DPD RI institutionally will continue to support and oversee the current government's priority programs, and of course it will actively accommodate and convey the aspirations of the community and local governments," he concluded.
