JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said former Deputy Governor of West Java Ilham Akbar Habibie (IAH) and Regent Pati Sudewo (SDW) requested a reschedule as a witness after not fulfilling the summons for examination on Friday 22 August.
"For IAH, the person concerned has other activities that have been scheduled, so he asks for a reschedule," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo when contacted by ANTARA from Jakarta, Saturday, August 23.
Meanwhile, Budi explained that Sudewo had the same reason for his absence from Ilham Akbar Habibie.
"For SDW, there are other needs that have been scheduled, and the examination will be rescheduled," he said.
Previously, Ilham Akbar Habibie was summoned as a witness in the alleged corruption case of ad procurement projects at the West Java and Banten Regional Development Banks (BJB) for the 2021 '2023 period.
