JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will announce the status of Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel Ebenezer (Noel) after being caught in a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Friday, August 22 afternoon. Noel is still undergoing examination at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.
"The construction of the case and the chronology of this arrest activity will be conveyed in full at tomorrow afternoon's press conference," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, August 21 evening.
Budi said that 14 people were arrested in a silent operation related to the management of safety and health certification (K3) on Wednesday night, August 20. In addition, the KPK also secured evidence in the form of money, cars, and motorbikes.
The cars and motorbikes that were secured in the activity were also exhibited.
The details are Toyota Corolla Cross, Nissan GT-R, Hyundai Palisade, Suzuki Jimny, Vespa Sprint S 150, Hyundai Palisaade black, and Honda CRV.
Then there are Jeep, Toyota Hilux, Mitsubishi Xpander, Hyundai Stargazer, CRV, BMW 330i, Vespa, Ducatimbarmble, CRV, Mitsubishi Xpander black, Pajero Sport, Ducati Hypermotoroad 950, Ducati Xdiavel, and one Ducati type motorcycle.
As previously reported, President Prabowo Subianto invited the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to process the law of Wamenaker Immanuel Ebenezer who was caught OTT. The former Minister of Defense has received a report from the activity.
"Mr. President has received a report and he conveyed that it is the realm of law. He respects the process at the KPK and is welcome for the legal process to be carried out properly," said Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi to reporters, Thursday, August 21.
