IGK Manila's Body Will Be Cremated Wednesday In Jakarta

JAKARTA The body of the Governor of the Nasdem State Defense Academy (ABN), I Gusti Kompyang (IGK) Manila, will be cremated on Wednesday, August 20, in Jakarta, according to the deceased's request. Prior to the cremation procession, the body was buried for two days in the Nasdem ABN auditorium, Jakarta.

Chairman of the Nasdem Party Surya Paloh was present at the funeral procession, Monday (18/8/2025). Surya remembers IGK Manila as a figure of high dedication to the nation.

"We are deeply saddened by his passing this morning. Leaving us with a note that we will never forget, his dedication is with all sincerity, tirelessly, giving all strength, energy, and responsibility for and on behalf of the entire family of the Nasdem Party," said Surya Paloh as quoted by ANTARA.

Surya said that the cremation procession would be carried out according to IGK Manila's last message.

"Wednesday (20/8/2025) around 10:00 WIB, we will officially release his body to the RSPI hospital for what kind of cremation procession he ordered. We all certainly pray that his spirit can be accepted and placed on the best side. On behalf of the entire family of the Nasdem Party, we release the bodies, seniors, our mentors, our companions, I Gusti Kompyang Manila," said Surya.

On the commemoration of IGK Manila's 83rd birthday at the ABN NasDem Campus, South Jakarta, Tuesday (8/7/2025), Surya Paloh praised Manila's unconditional service to the nation. Surya also praised the sincerity of the friendship that was rarely encountered.

"I tell everyone how hard the figure of I Gusti Kompyang Manila is to dedicate himself, his time, energy, thought, and all the energy he has for one he wants to make a very useful contribution, not limited to the interests of himself or the group, but to the people and nation we love," said Paloh.
