Pratikno Says Attention Is Needed In Education To Improve HR Quality

Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Pratikno said the government's special attention to education was able to improve the quality of human resources (HR) in Indonesia.

"The education budget has been set to 20 percent, right, but this year in terms of volume, it's the biggest so far," he said, quoting Antara.

According to him, attention to increasing human resources during the reign of President Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka is a strong commitment to realizing a quality nation to welcome Indonesia Emas.

The Human Development Index, continued Pratikno, is one of the indicators that continues to increase along with the government's very significant attention to improving human resources.

"We are now paying very significant attention to human resources, especially health, starting from hospitals in remote areas, adding doctors, to free health checks and others," he said.

The Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture also stated that the life expectancy of the Indonesian people had increased sharply during the 80 years of Indonesia's Independence.

"During the 80 years, we have achieved many achievements, especially in the fields that are my responsibility, human development and culture, starting from the sharp increasing life expectancy over the last 80 years," he said.

Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia in 2025 has the theme "United Sovereign, People of Prosperous, Advanced Indonesia". The theme reflects the spirit of nationality that continues to be maintained as the foundation for moving forward to the future.
