Indonesian Independence Day 80, KPI Urges Television And Radio To Broadcast Independence

JAKARTA - The Central Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) appealed to all television and radio broadcasting institutions throughout Indonesia to broadcast broadcast broadcast programs containing messages of struggle and independence to enliven the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

"This is the right momentum, a sacred momentum. We urge television and radio to enliven their broadcast program with an independence broadcast program," said Ubaidillah Central KPI chairman in Jakarta, Friday, August 15.

Ubaidillah said that the broadcast program containing the independence could be carried out in a varied manner. So that it can reach all segments of society. Both through news broadcast programs, documentaries, to entertainment.

"You can cover flag ceremonies carried out by agencies, activities of residents who usually have competitions, then Public Service Ads. Including can be inserted in entertainment programs. So that the value of this independence can be accepted by all segments of society. We believe that television and radio friends are more creative," he added.

The man who is familiarly called Gus Ubaid assesses that the increasing number of broadcast programs for independence, the spirit of nationality and independence can continue to live and even continue to increase considering that future national challenges are not easy.

"We know that the challenges ahead are very dynamic, we want to pick up a demographic bonus. So information needs that can consolidate the strength of all nations' children. We want all people to feel the same way, that we are one nation with the same spirit. And the 80th Anniversary, this is the right momentum as the spirit contained in this year's independence theme, namely Bersatu Sovereign, Rakyat Sejahtera, Indonesia Maju," he concluded.

In addition to this, Ubaidillah also said that the momentum of the Indonesian Independence Day 80 should be used as a reflection event to always remember the struggles of the predecessors.

"Because without them, it is impossible for us to taste the sweets of being an independent nation. It is appropriate for us to continue to be creative in providing the best for the Indonesian people in filling their independence," he concluded.
