JAKARTA - Head of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) Hasan Nasbi emphasized that the issue of reshuffle or reshuffle of the Red and White cabinet does not need to be addressed with speculation.
Hasan stated that the reshuffle would only occur if it was announced directly by President Prabowo Subianto.
"This reshuffle only occurs when announced by the President. So as long as it is not announced by the President, of course we do not need to speculate," Hasan said while giving a press statement at the PCO Office, Jakarta, Antara, Thursday, August 13.
He emphasized that the duties of the assistants to the president are to carry out the directives and mandates given.
Staff within the Presidential Communication Office are also directed to focus on working according to the President's orders and implement government programs.
Hasan added, if the cabinet reshuffle is really carried out, the public and government officials will know firsthand through the president's announcement.
"Let's just focus on working on carrying out orders from the president and running government programs. Even if there are later, we will know when announced by the president," he said.
Previously, Hasan said that President Prabowo assessed that the ranks of the Red and White Cabinet are currently working very solidly and compactly.
"What the President said today was that he felt the cabinet was very solid, the cabinet was very compact," Hasan said.
He added that President Prabowo appreciated the hard work of all cabinet members who were considered to show the collaborative spirit between ministries and institutions. The President also expressed his gratitude for the cohesiveness of the team which is considered to work wholeheartedly in completing government duties.
