PONOROGO - The Ponorogo Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested an alleged perpetrator of the murder of Alip Rahayu Arianti (30), a resident of Bandan Village, Bandar District, Pacitan Regency, who works as an employee of a beauty salon in Purwantoro District, Wonogiri Regency, Central Java.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Ponorogo Police, AKP Imam Mujali, said the alleged perpetrator was initially examined as a witness before being arrested.
"We have secured something, but it is still under investigation," said Imam Mujali, quoted by ANTARA in Ponorogo, Wednesday, August 13.
According to him, the arrests were made after the investigative team found a number of pieces of evidence that led to the alleged perpetrator.
"Some of the evidence points there. The team is also working to find the alleged perpetrator, and we have secured one," he said.
