JAKARTA Participating in the spotlight in the midst of gossip about the animated film Merah Putih One For All, Deputy Minister of Creative Economy (Ekraf) Irene Umar finally spoke.

Irene Umar admitted that she had received an audience with the film production team from Perfiki Kreasindo. But Irene emphasized that at that time she gave a number of inputs on the film Merah Putih One For All which will air on August 14.

"I myself received an audience with the film production team some time ago where I conveyed some input from me including technical input related to looks, and feels, trailers etc," said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, quoted by VOI, Monday, August 11.

Irene emphasized that every audience that was held, she always listened to the explanations of industry players and also provided feedback.

I always do this in every audience with all parties so that every audience I can hear directly from industry players and provide feedbac based on my experience.

"All the Creative Economy fighters are free to work while having a positive impact," continued Irene.

In his statement, Irene also denied that the Ministry of Creative Economy provided financial assistance to the animated film Merah Putih One For All. This affirmation dismissed speculation in cyberspace that suspected that there was money from the government behind the production of this film.

"We do not provide financial assistance and do not provide promotional facilities," he said.

It is known that the animated film Merah Putih One For All has become a gossip on social media. Apart from poor visual graphics, the idea of the film story that will premiere on August 14 is considered clich.

The Red and White One For All tells the story of a group of children who are selected as the "Red and White Team" to guard the heirloom flag.

However, 3 days before the August 17 ceremony, the flag was missing. Eight children from various cultural backgrounds Betawi, Papua, Medan, Tegal, Central Java, Makassar, Manado, and Chinese unite in a heroic mission: saving the mysterious missing heritage red and white flag.
