466 London Residents Demo Support Palestine Action Arrested, Threatened With British Terrorism Article

JAKARTA - The demonstration against Israel's advanced military invasion of Gaza City in the Palestinian region was held in the square of London, England, Saturday, August 9 local time.

Quoting Metro UK, Sunday, August 10, the demonstration, which was attended by hundreds of British citizens, was also a form of support for the Palestine Action organization, which often protested so that Britain would not help Israel attack Gaza and the West Bank.

The masses also support the organization, which was recently labeled a terrorist organization by the British Government just for acting against vandalism.

Hundreds of mass action participants in the London City Square Square Square square were later arrested.

The London police department or Scotland Yard revealed that 466 demonstrators were arrested by his party until 21.00 local time.

Those arrested were accused of violating the rules, including attacks on officers. One of those arrested by Moazzam Begg, a former political prisoner of Teluk 04. Begg held a poster that read "I am against genocide, I support Palestine Action", before being finally taken away by the police.

Amnesty International described the mass arrest of protesters under British terrorism law as "very concerning".

Previously, the British Government banned the activities of the Palestine Action organization which often called for Britain not to get involved in war crimes by helping send military logistics to Israeli soldiers to bombard Gaza.

The ban is contained in the UK Terrorism Act, which was issued in early July 2025.

The ban policy came after Palestinian Action activists broke into Britain's air force base in Braiz Norten, Friday, June 20. The pro-Palestinian activist damaged two Voyager planes by firing red paint into the engine.

The head of human rights of the United Nations considers the ban on vandalism's efforts to argue to be "disproportionate".
