Residents tried to extinguish the fire and took the victim to the hospital, but the burns which reached around 80 percent prevented the victim.
The incident was triggered by the perpetrator's jealousy towards his wife's business activities.
"The perpetrator was not happy that the victim was selling because many drivers stopped at the shop. However, the act of burning the victim could not be justified for any reason," he said while confirming that the perpetrator would be processed according to the applicable law.
