Social Assistance Recipients Are Online Gambling, Social Affairs Minister Coordinates with Financial Transaction Analysis Head

JAKARTA - Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf will meet with Ivan Yustiavandana, Head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK), to discuss social assistance recipients who have deposited their funds in dormant accounts, as well as several recipients suspected of online gambling.

According to PPATK data, there is a potential for at least IDR 2.1 trillion in social assistance funds to be held in dormant accounts across 10,416,162 accounts.

Furthermore, Gus Ipul is also continuing his efforts to update social assistance recipient data so that social assistance reaches its intended recipients, in accordance with President Prabowo Subianto's directives.
