The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has examined Robbin Saputra as a civil servant (PNS) of the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) on Monday, August 4.

His role in passing the company suspected of corruption in the presidential social assistance (bansos) case for handling COVID-19 in the Jabodetabek area at the Ministry of Social Affairs for the 2020 period was investigated by investigators. Robbin was examined as a witness at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"Investigators are exploring how the suspect's process brought his company into the procurement of COVID-19 social assistance and how the witness played a role in the process," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, August 5.

Budi said that there was actually one more witness who would be examined but was not present. He is Aryani Djaja who is the Director of PT Subur Jaya Gemilang.

"Witnesses did not attend without information," he said.
