AGO Starts Riza Chalid's Red Notice Process To Interpol

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has stated that it has processed a request for the issuance of a red notice for Riza Chalid, who is a suspect in alleged corruption in crude oil governance and refinery products at PT Pertamina Persero Sub Holding-KKKS for the 2018-2023 period.

The application was made because Riza Chalid had not fulfilled the investigation summons sent by investigators

"On process, that's right, in process (submission of red notice)," said Head of the AGO, Anang Supriatna to reporters, Tuesday, August 5.

In addition, investigators will immediately include Riza Chalid's name in the wanted list (DPO). Because, it is one of the requirements in the issuance of red notices.

"Yes, maybe later you can determine the DPO later with a red notice as well," he said.

Since being named a suspect, investigators are known to have scheduled three examinations, precisely on July 24 and 28, as well as August 4, 2025. However, Riza Chalid never attended it.

"What is clear is that yesterday the person concerned was summoned last day until last night no, there was no confirmation of the person concerned's presence," said Anang.

Circulating information, Riza Chalid is said to be in Malaysia. In fact, he has married a relative of the Sultanate of the neighboring country.
