41 Bandarlampung Residents Approved To Receive Three Million Houses Program

Bandarlampung City Government (Pemkot) said 41 residents had been approved to receive program three million houses from the Central Government. This determination was made through a decree (SK) issued directly by the Mayor of Bandarlampung.

"Until the end of June, the Mayor of Bandarlampung has issued a decree for 41 people who are entitled to a three million house program from the Central Government," said Head of the Bandarlampung City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda), Desti Mega Putri, in Bandarlampung, Antara, Tuesday, August 5.

Desti explained that although this program is an initiation of the central government, the process of verification and approval of recipients remains under the authority of the local government. This is related to the policy of exemption from the levy of building approval (PBG) and the duty to obtain land and building rights (BPHTB) which are the responsibility of the local government.

"Because indeed to get this program there is still a verification stage and the requirements. For example, it must be the first house to be purchased, a joint husband and wife salary of a maximum of Rp. 10 million. If there is only one buyer, the maximum salary is Rp. 8 million," he said.

He emphasized that the verification process was carried out to ensure that the program intended for low-income people was not misused by unauthorized parties.

If the joint salary of husband and wife is above Rp. 10 million, they are not entitled. Likewise, if this is the second house purchase, they cannot participate in this program," he continued.

Desti revealed that in Bandarlampung there are three areas that are the locations for the construction of houses in this program, namely Bukit Sebela Permai at Sumber Agung, Super Nova Land in Labuan Ratu, and Sukarame Baru.

In addition, the Bandarlampung City Government has submitted an additional 90 names of prospective program recipients to Mayor Eva Dwiana last July. The plan, the re-submission will be made in August.
