Two Tangerang Travelers Who Escaped To Solo Are Positive For COVID-19

SOLO - As many as two travelers heading to Solo who passed the isolation tested positive for COVID-19. This result is known to the local Jogo Tonggo (movement to take care of each other during the COVID-19 Pandemic).

"There were five people from Tangerang, two of whom were positive, one was taken to Donohudandan, and the other because of symptoms, was taken to the hospital. The other three went to STP (Solo Technopark) yesterday afternoon", said the Chairperson of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 Surakarta City, Ahyani in Solo, quoted by Antara, Friday, May 7.

Ahyani said that this situation meant that Jogo Tonggo was effective enough to ensure the whereabouts of the travelers.

"So the travelers plan to go to Serengan, arrive in Solo yesterday. However, Jogo Tonggo immediately reported being taken to STP, right there the travelers underwent antigen swabs, screening, positive results. Immediately brought Donohudan and if symptomatic was taken to the hospital", he continued.

Meanwhile, his party continues to be aware of the increase in the number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Solo City along with the arrival of several travelers.

"This increase must be watched out for, maybe because we are too open to lots of interactions, newcomers," said Ahyani.

Based on the data, he said, most recently the number of positive cases of COVID-19 was increased by 42 people. However, on the same day, there were an additional 18 people who recovered from the virus attack.

"If the cluster is evenly distributed, most of them are family clusters. Yes, our evaluation will further tighten health protocols and optimize the role of Jogo Tonggo in society", he said.
