Dasco Uploads Photo With Megawati After Announces Amnesty Hasto Kristiyanto

JAKARTA - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, uploaded a photo of a meeting with the PDIP General Chair and 5th President Megawati Soekarnoputri after announcing the DPR's approval for granting amnesty to PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto.

The photo was uploaded via Dasco's Instagram account (@sufmi_dasco), Thursday, July 31 evening. From the uploaded photo, Dasco was seen with State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, meeting with Megawati, DPR Speaker Puan Maharani, and PDIP DPP Chair Prananda Prabowo.

However, from the upload, Dasco only included a statement, namely "Merajut Tali Kebangsaan dan Brotherhood". He did not explain the location and timing of the meeting on the photo upload.

The photo shows them sitting in a living room with a table in the middle. However, the house's room is different from the portrait of the house where Dasco and Megawati met before.

Megawati, Prananda, and Puan, are known to be in Bali on Wednesday (30/7). The PDIP officials are in Bali to attend the Technical Guidance (Bimtek) agenda of PDIP Faction Legislative Members at The Meru & Bali Beach Convention Center, Sanur, Denpasar, Bali.

The DPR has approved the granting of amnesty to the Secretary-General of the PDI-P Hasto Kristiyanto as a convict in the alleged bribery case for interim replacement (PAW) for DPR member Harun Masiku and the obstruction of the investigation.

"Giving approval and consideration of Presidential Letter Number R42/PRES/07/2025 dated July 30, 2025 regarding amnesty to 1,116 people who have been convicted are granted amnesty, including Hasto Kristiyanto," said Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco at the parliament complex, Jakarta.

Hal tersebut disampaikannya usai pemerintah bersama DPR yang terdiri dari pimpinan dan fraksi-fraksi melakukan rapat konsultan untuk memberikan pertimbangan dan persetujuan terhadap Surat Presiden Nomor R42/PRES/07/2025 tersebut.
