Hendrik is now detained and charged with Article 81 paragraph (2) and/or Article 82 paragraph (1) of Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning Child Protection. The penalty is 15 years in prison and a maximum fine of IDR 5 billion.
Malang Police also ensured that the victim and his family received psychological assistance to recover trauma.
