Police Ensure Compliance With Foreign Ministry Diplomats Without Other Parties' Involvement

The police concluded that there was no involvement of other parties related to the death of the Deputy Expert Diplomat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) Arya Daru Pangayunan.

This conclusion was drawn based on the results of an examination or investigation from a team of investigators who collaborated with forensic experts.

"It is concluded that the indicators rather than death rather than ADP lead to indications of death without the involvement of other parties," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police Kombes Wira Satya Triputra to reporters, Tuesday, July 29.

One of the basic conclusions refers to the results of DNA examination at the crime scene (TKP) or Arya Daru Pangayunan's boarding room.

Wira stated that no DNA from other people was found in the location or items such as bed sheets, pillowcases or glasses. There is only DNA from Arya Daru Pangayunan.

"The results of no DNA found belonging to anyone other than the victim's DNA, including duct tape and evidence at the crime scene," said Wira.

It is known, in an effort to uncover the cause of Arya Daru Pangayunan's death, the police confiscated 103 items obtained from various locations.

"From the crime scene carried out, both at the crime scene and in other places that have been passed by the victim, investigators secured 103 types of evidence," said Wira.

But no further details regarding what evidence the confiscated. It is only mentioned that investigators divide into three clusters.

The first cluster, the evidence obtained from the Arya Daru Pangayunan office or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Second, it was confiscated from the boarding house.

Meanwhile, the third cluster is evidence obtained from families and parties who had contact or communicated with Arya Daru Pangayunan.

"Investigators secured evidence from the victim's family and other witnesses," he said.

Not only evidence, in an effort to reveal the veil, the police have examined 24 witnesses who were also divided into several clusters. Starting from the work environment to those who had interacted with Arya Daru Pangayunan.

Arya Daru Pangayunan was found dead in the 'Gues House Gondia' in the 105th room, Jalan Gondangdia Kecil, No 22, Cikini Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 8.

When found, the body of Arya Daru Pangayunan was covered in plastic and duct tape in yellow.
