JAKARTA - Police are hunting for two men suspected of stealing motorbikes belonging to the accident victim in Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

"Yes, it's true that we are trying to uncover it again. The perpetrators are still being identified, we are still checking the TKP (scene of the case). We just got the information too," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Cengkareng Police, AKP Parman Gultom, ANTARA, Tuesday, July 29, 2025.

He explained that the two suspected perpetrators initially helped two victims, father and son who had an accident at the Rawa Buaya Flyover, then took the victim to the Cengkareng Health Center on Monday (28/7).

After arriving at the puskesmas, the two assistants told the victim that the motorbike key would be entrusted to security. But apparently, it was only the perpetrator's mode of getting away with the victim's motorbike.

Previously, a viral upload on the Instagram account @warga.jakbar, the two perpetrators were seen wearing quite closed clothes.

The two perpetrators were seen getting ready to get out of the parking lot of the puskesmas and take the victim's motorbike away.

Based on the explanation of the complainant stated in the description of the upload, the Cengkareng Health Center protocol only allows CCTV footage to be photographed, but cannot be recorded.

Until this news was published, there had been no further information from the police.
