JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined four witnesses regarding the alleged corruption of digitizing PT Pertamina's public refueling station (SPBU) today, July 28. They were questioned about the procurement of EDC machines carried out by PT Telkom.
"Investigators are investigating the EDC procurement process in Telkom," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Monday, July 28.
The four witnesses examined by the KPK were Ernist Rindang Marojohan as General Manager (GM) Business Service and Synergy Group of PT PINS Indonesia for the 2018-2020 period; Refiguspa, which is PT PINS Indonesia's VP General Support for the 2018-2020 period; Wahyu Novian as Manager of the 5th Capex Procurement Process of PT Telkom for the period August 2017-July 2021; and President Commissioner of PT Phase Delta Control (PDC), Edrus Ali.
"All witnesses are present," said Budi.
Previously reported, the KPK is again investigating allegations of corruption at PT Pertamina (Persero). This time, the connection with the digitization project of public refueling stations (SPBU) allegedly occurred in 2019-2023.
To investigate this case, the anti-corruption commission has issued an investigation warrant (sprindik) in September 2024. Three suspects have been named but have not been officially announced.

As for the information gathered, the three suspects are DR and W from PT Telkom and E as Director of PT Pacific Cipta Solusi.
Acting (Plt) Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu said this case ensnared PT Telkom because they were working on digitalization projects. In the process, it is suspected that there was too much to pay, causing state losses.
"Well, that's why most of the suspects here (suspects, ed) are from PT Telkom. This is the executor. The first one (Pertamina, ed) is the owner of the program," Asep told reporters quoted on Friday, July 25.
This digitization process is called when Pertamina enforces a policy of using quick response (QR) codes for customers who buy subsidized fuel. "This takes it from the calculation of how much was issued," he said.
