JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto directly chose the logo of the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia which is the best work of the nation's children, said the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) official.

PCO Deputy for Dissemination and Information Media, Noudhy Valdryno, said the logo was launched by the President on Wednesday, July 23, from the professional selection process in an open national competition which was held from May 23 to June 1, 2025.

"This logo was chosen directly by the President. As stated by President Prabowo, this logo is the best work of the nation's children which is full of meaning," he said in Jakarta, Friday, which was confiscated by Antara.

Ryno, as he is familiarly called, explained that the National Committee for the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, which is a collaboration between the Ministry of State Secretariat and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and the Indonesian Graphic Designers Association (ADGI), received 245 works.

The works were then curated by a professional team and design experts, so that five finalists had to present their works.

The winner of this year's logo competition is Bram Patria Yoshugi. Bram's work became the winner of the top five finalists who had been reported to President Prabowo Subianto.

Ryno said the meaning of the INDONESIA's 80th Anniversary logo includes the numbers 8 and 0 which make up the infinite symbol (infinity).

According to Ryno, this logo symbolizes an unbounded move forward and illustrates historical unity and sustainability. Meanwhile, the colors of red and white emphasize national identity.

There are three main elements that reflect the direction of Indonesia's journey in the future. The message is quite strong, namely the core form, which describes our unity as the basis for the progress of the nation in the future," he said.

The second element of the Indonesian 80th Anniversary Logo is the manifestation line (white line on the inside). According to Ryno, the circular line that forms the 80th silhouette is represented through a continuous line that accelerates its shape.

"This is a manifestation of people's welfare," he said.

Third, the form of Utuh. According to Ryno, it describes the combinedness of all elements forming a complete logo that reflects a progressive and interconnected picture of Indonesia.

"This symbol is a prayer that agrees with the synergy of all components of the nation in encouraging sustainable and equitable progress throughout the country," said Ryno.
