Paseban Residents Killed By A Tree While Crossing Jalan Benjamin Sueb Kemayoran

Nahas, a motorcyclist with the initials SW (51) died after being hit by a fallen tree while crossing Jalan Benjamin Sueb, Kebon Blank Village, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta, Thursday, July 24, 2025.

The victim was registered as a resident of Paseban, Senen District, Central Jakarta. The victim was found lying face down on the asphalt road.

"It is true that a man died when he was hit by a fallen tree on Jalan Benyamin Sueb. Currently, the victim has been evacuated to the RSCM," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro when confirmed.

The incident began when a witness named Raihan Khairi Rahman heard a fallen tree sound at around 13.25 WIB.

The witness, who works as an online motorcycle taxi driver, immediately approached the location and saw the victim lying with a bleeding face. While his motorbike was lying beside.

"The tree crossed over to cover the road. The ojol drivers and passing motorists helped move the victim's tree and motorbike to the side," he said.

Police officers who received the report went directly to the scene to process the crime scene. The victim was evacuated using an ambulance to the RSCM at around 14.15 WIB.
