Bidpropam Polda Kaltara Holds Urin Test For Main Officials And Pamen

TANJUNG SELOR - A number of major officials and middle officers at the North Kalimantan Regional Police (Polda), underwent a urine test on Wednesday, July 23.

The Head of Public Relations of the Kaltara Police, Kombes Budi Rahmat, revealed that the investigation carried out by the Propam Division of the North Kalimantan Police was part of an effort to create a clean and integrity police work environment.

"This urine check is the commitment of the Kaltara Police in eradicating drug abuse, especially in the police environment," said Kombes Budi Rahmat, Thursday (24/7/2025).

"In addition to being carried out randomly, the inspection was carried out suddenly under strict supervision to ensure the inspection process went well," added Budi.

He emphasized that this urine test also functions as a discipline and moral guidance for members of the National Police. "Bidpropam ensures that activities run according to procedures and continue to uphold the rights and dignity of the personnel being examined," he said.

He explained that all officials and officers undergoing examination showed a cooperative and open attitude towards the ongoing process.

"The enthusiasm and readiness of them are a reflection of the spirit of transparency and responsibility in carrying out the mandate as a protector, protector, and public servant," he explained.

He added that the Propam Sector will carry out periodic examinations as preventive efforts as well as an indicator of compliance with the professional values, integrity, and higher morality that are expected from each member of the police.
