As reported by the Bangkok Post, the Head of Sutthiroj District Charoenthanak confirmed that two rockets hit the village at 09.40 local time, Thursday, July 24, while residents were waiting for evacuation.
Four people were injured, and two people later died in hospital, namely a 12-year-old child and an adult.
Authorities evacuated residents from 86 villages to emergency shelters in schools in the adjacent Prasat district.
