Good News, 7,054 New Johar Residents Will Get 20 Kg Of Free Rice

JAKARTA - The district with the largest population in Central Jakarta will get the distribution of free government rice through Bulog.

It is known, as many as 7054 residents of Johar Baru Subdistrict recorded 20 kg of social assistance rice which will be distributed at 6 RPTRA.

The Mayor of Central Jakarta, Arifin, appealed to residents who would get rice not to crowd when queuing.

"I ask that each data sub-district must be valid and residents do not need to jostle," he said, Thursday, July 24, 2025.

Rice distribution will be held for 5 days. Later, residents who get rice will be included in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DKTS).

Each head of the family (KK) will receive 20 kg of rice. The residents who get rice are spread across four sub-districts in the Johar Baru sub-district.

The village with the highest rice assistance was in Tanah Tinggi Village, reaching 3000 residents.

Meanwhile, the residents who received the most rice assistance were residents of Kampung Rawa Village.

In the process, residents who take rice must bring an invitation letter and bring their original KTP. Residents who get free rice can take at 6 RPTRAs in the 4 urban villages.

The distribution of rice will be closely monitored by joint officers from the Satpol PP, Polri and TNI.
