Two Burned KM Barcelona V Passengers Still Missing

The two passengers of KM Barcelona V who caught fire in the waters of Talise, North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi on Sunday (20/7) have yet to be found.

"The two victims are Levi Aiba (male, 19 years old) and Hamen Langinan (male, 59 years old)," said Public Relations of the Manado SAR office, Nuriadin Gumeleng, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 23.

Until now, temporary data on victims of the accident due to the burning of KM Barcelona V is 580 people, of which 575 people survived, three people died, and two people are still being searched.

The fourth day of SAR operations at 07.00 WITA began by dividing the team into four Search and Rescue Units (SRU) in charge of conducting sweeps in northern Likupang waters.

"Search efforts are still being carried out with the hope that the two victims who have not been found can be found soon," he said.

KM Barcelona V caught fire in the waters of Talise, North Minahasa Regency on a voyage from Talaud Regency to Manado City.
