Police Haven't Named A Teacher Suspect Having Sex With A High School Student Since Elementary School

West Lombok Resort Police, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) handled the case of an elementary school teacher with the initials LS who allegedly had sex with a high school student repeatedly since she was in sixth grade in elementary school.

"So, it happened a long time ago, the victim is still in the sixth grade of elementary school. The case is now under investigation," said Head of the West Lombok Police Satreskrim AKP Lalu Eka Mardiwinata as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 22.

Dalam tahap penanganan yang sudah berjalan di tahap penyidikan ini dia menegaskan bahwa penyidik belum menetapkan LS sebagai tersangka.

"Not yet a suspect, we are still strengthening the evidence from the examination of witnesses and others," he said.

The evidence that is still being collected by investigators comes from the victim's statement with his family, village officials from the victim's origin, the government, experts, and LS as reported parties.

Although LS is still a reported status, Lalu Eka stated that the investigation of this case leads to the alleged violation of Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning the Crime of Sexual Violence (TPKS).

Eka explained that the handling of the alleged criminal case of the man from Sekotong originated from the report of the victim's family.

From the results of the investigation, it was revealed that indications of the reported perpetrator carrying out his depraved acts repeatedly by threatening to spread esek-esek videos with the victim.

"So, there is an acknowledgment from the perpetrator that in the past what was done with the victim was stored," said Lalu Eka.

LS' last act against the victim was revealed on July 5, 2025. The action took place at a location close to the victim's house.
