Prabowo Calls The Issue Of Dark Indonesia The Result Of Corruptor Engineering

SOLO - President Prabowo Subianto responded to the hectic issues and hashtags of Illicit Indonesia' which had been busy on social media. Prabowo said this was the result of engineering sponsored by corruptors through paid buzzers.

Prabowo made this statement in his remarks at the closing ceremony of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Congress in Surakarta, Central Java, Sunday, July 20 evening.

On this occasion, a videotron broadcast featured the origin of the issue allegedly related to the suspect in the corruption case of palm oil (CPO).

"There are systematic efforts to use technology, money, social media, and even pay experts and influencers to spread pessimism. I was shaking with my head seeing people who claimed to be smart, who should have given me hope, instead spread the narrative of dark Indonesia," said Prabowo.

He said certain parties had raised negative opinion on the government he would lead with Gibran Rakabuming Raka, including through demonstrations with the theme Illicit Indonesia some time ago.

"So that it's like Indonesia is dark, just run away' is the result of engineering. The demonstrations that appeared were actually financed by parties who wanted this country to continue to be chaotic, continue to be poor and they are corruptors," he continued.

Prabowo emphasized that the narrative contradicts the reality of the nation's potential. He is optimistic that Indonesia has a bright future thanks to the wealth of natural resources and the strength of development that continues to grow.

"Indonesia is dark? Sorry, Indonesia is bright! Our future is full of hope. I've seen the data," he said.
