Before Inaugurating 80,000 Red And White Kopdes, Prabowo Discusses Strategic Issues At The Cabinet Meeting

President Prabowo Subianto chaired a limited meeting (ratas) with a number of Ministers of the Red and White Cabinet at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

This meeting was held in a hybrid manner via video conference and discussed various national strategic issues, one of which was the discourse on the inauguration of the Red and White Village Cooperative (Kopdes).

"On Sunday afternoon, President Prabowo Subianto held a limited meeting with a number of Ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta," said Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya in a written statement.

Teddy explained that this meeting was aimed at formulating government steps in addressing various strategic issues, including the availability of foodstuffs ahead of the second semester of 2025.

"Before carrying out several agendas next week, this meeting was carried out to discuss various strategic issues, such as the availability of rice and foodstuffs, to accelerate the development of fishing villages," he continued.

In addition to food issues, the meeting also highlighted the readiness for the implementation of the Red and White Village Cooperative program in various parts of Indonesia, which is one of the flagship programs of the Prabowo government.

"In addition, it was also discussed regarding the readiness of the Red and White Village Cooperative in various regions in Indonesia, the implementation of the initiative to provide further education to young economists, as well as a number of other government priority programs," added Teddy.

After chairing the meeting, the president immediately left for Central Java Province to continue his work agenda. One of the important agendas that will be attended is the institutional inauguration of 80,000 Red and White Village/Sub-District Cooperatives which is scheduled to take place on Monday, July 21, 2025.
