SUKABUMI - Three children in Sukabumi, West Java were dragged by big waves while playing with water on Buffalo Beach, Cipatuguran, Palabuhanratu. One of them was found drowned while the other two were rescued.

The Coordinator of the Sukabumi SAR Post, Suryo Adianto, said that the victim's body was found by the joint SAR team in a prone position at a radius of approximately 1 nautical mile (NM) from the initial incident location.
"The victim was found by the joint SAR team this afternoon and immediately evacuated to the funeral home to be handed over to the family," he said Tuesday, July 15.
According to Suryo, the search for victims involved dozens of joint personnel, namely the Sukabumi SAR Post, Polair, Palabuhanratu Navy Post, Polsek and Palabuhanratu Koramil, and other volunteers.
