JAKARTA - The 2021 Hari Raya Allowance Post (THR) established by the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has received 1,246 reports regarding the payment of THR from 20 April 2021 to 4 May.

The details of the report are 603 reports are consultations and 643 reports are complaints related to allowances given ahead of the religious holiday.

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower Anwar Sanusi expressed his appreciation for the company's obedience to paying the THR ahead of Eid.

"Surely this is a good signal that there will be a rebound that has started," he said as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, May 5.

According to him, various steps have been taken by the government including the Ministry of Manpower to encourage recovery from the impact of COVID-19 in the form of incentives, facilitation and various tax breaks.

"So that is the basis for consideration, one of which is that the THR policy must be paid before Eid," he added.

Previously, the Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah had issued a circular requiring THR 2021 payments to be made in full no later than seven days before religious holidays.

The maximum payment time dispensation is the day before holidays are given to companies that can prove that they are still affected by the pandemic. However, companies are required to have a dialogue with workers based on financial reports to reach an agreement on the THR payment.

To ensure the smooth payment of THR, the Ministry of Manpower has also launched a THR 2021 Post which workers can use for consultation and complaints related to THR by face-to-face, online or via call center 1500 630.

Apart from the central government, the THR 2021 Posko was also established at the provincial and district and city levels.
