Pelindo Strengthens Overtake As A World Class Tourism Village

JAKARTA - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia or Pelindo has again supported the implementation of the Village Tourism Festival XII, which was held on July 10-12 2025 in Penglipuran Traditional Village, Bangli Regency, Bali. This support is part of the commitment to Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) as the supervisor of the Penglipuran Village.

This festival has the theme Samskriti Bhumi Jana: Harmoni Towards Sustainable and Inclusive Tourism. This activity is a means of preserving tradition and strengthening the sustainable tourism ecosystem.

This year's festival features various cultural activities, such as a gebogan parade, tiger barong competition, penjor, color competition, to local music performances and MSME exhibitions. Hundreds of villagers, school students, as well as local art and business actors were directly involved in this activity.

Penglipuran Village previously received international recognition from UNWTO as one of the Best Tourism Villages in The World in 2023. This 2025 reviewer received the prestigious Kalpataru Lestari award from the Ministry of Environment.
