NTB Prosecutor's Office Examines Files Of 3 Suspects In The Death Case Of Brigadier Nurhadi

The West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office examined files belonging to three suspects in the death of Brigadier MN alias Nurhadi who died while at the Gili Trawangan inn area, West Lombok Regency.

Spokesperson for the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Efrien Saputera, explained that the case files belonging to the three suspects are still under investigation by the research prosecutor.

"Because we just received the file, the file research process is still ongoing," said Efrien as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 9.

The research of the file, he explained, was to see if the completeness of the evidence had fulfilled the criminal elements suspected by police investigators.

"In essence, we see the completeness of the formal and material requirements for the case file," he said

The case files examined by the investigating prosecutor belonged to suspects Kompol Y, Ipda HC, and a woman with the initials M who were subject to Article 351 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code and/or Article 359 of the Criminal Code.

The examination of the file by the investigating prosecutor is a follow-up to the delegation from the NTB Police Ditreskrimum investigators.

Director of Criminal Investigation at the NTB Police, Kombes Pol. Syarif Hidayat previously said investigators had found at least two pieces of evidence that corroborated the criminal acts of the three suspects related to allegations of abuse and negligence that resulted in the loss of the lives of others.

The evidence was obtained from the results of the examination of 18 witnesses and a number of experts. One of the things that corroborated the analysis of the forensic team which concluded that Brigadier MN died as a result of being strangled.

The analysis was obtained by a forensic team based on the results of an autopsy from the exhumation of the tomb of Brigadier MN in the Narmada area, West Lombok Regency.

For handling this case, police investigators have detained the three suspects at the Directorate of Detention and Evidence of the NTB Police.
