JAKARTA - The police arrested three new big children (ABG) who wanted to fight using sharp weapons in the Korumba Village area, Kendari District, Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi Province (Sultra).

Head of Team II of the Cipkon Patrol of the Kendari Police, Aiptu Amrullah, said the three people with the initials AS (19), as well as two minors AD (16) and KM (15), were arrested on Wednesday, July 9 in the morning.

"The three of them will carry out a brawl with another group of youths in front of the Aliyah 2 Hospital (RS) in Korumba Village," Amrullah said when met in Kendari, Wednesday, July 9, as quoted by Antara.

He said the arrests were made based on reports from the public who were disturbed by several groups of teenagers in the area.

"Reports from the public who complained about a group of teenagers gathering and planning to do a brawl," he said.

Amrullah revealed that after receiving the report, the Kendari Porlresta Patrol Team immediately went to the crime scene (TKP). At that time, a group of teenagers was found trying to escape from police officers.

"When we arrived at the location, officers immediately chased the teenagers who were trying to escape. From the pursuit, three teenagers were arrested," said Amrullah.

After the arrest, the police officers then immediately conducted an examination of the teenagers and combed around the location where they were gathering.

"As a result, two comb machetes were found in the front yard of Aliyah 2 Hospital," he said.

To carry out further investigations, said Amrullah, the three teenagers were immediately taken to the Kendari Police Headquarters for questioning.
