Police Investigate Findings Of Dozens Of Active Bullets In Semarang

SEMARANG - Police investigated the findings of 39 active 5.56 mm caliber bullets at a kiosk on Jalan Wonodri Sendang, Semarang City, Central Java.

The Head of the Central Semarang Police, Kompol Sucipto, confirmed the discovery of dozens of active bullets.

The police first received a report on the presence of the bullets on Sunday (29/6) night.

"There is a kiosk that will be rented, when it comes to cleaning it turns out that there are still items belonging to the old tenant," he said as quoted by ANTARA Monday, June 30.

When cleaning the items in the kiosk, dozens of bullets were found in a box.

The police then processed the crime scene at the kiosk where the bullets were found.

In addition, the police have also asked for statements from witnesses who are aware of the discovery of the ammunition.

Sucipto added that it was possible that the police would also ask for information from the previous tenant of the kiosk.
