"Contraflow is implemented from KM 55 to KM 47 towards Jakarta, to break down traffic congestion," Ria said in a statement received in Karawang, Antara, Sunday, June 29 evening.
Jasa Marga appealed to all toll road users to prepare for the trip carefully, especially in the midst of a busy backflow. Drivers are asked to ensure that the condition of the vehicle and body is in prime condition.
"Make sure the fuel is sufficient, the electronic money balance is available, and don't forget to check the vehicle before leaving," Ria appealed.
He also reminded road users to always obey traffic signs and follow the directions of officers in the field to maintain safety and smooth travel.
In addition to toll roads, congestion is also observed on the Karawang-Cikampek arterial road which is an alternative backflow route. Vehicles passing are dominated by motorbikes and private cars.
