SOUTH KALIMANTAN - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of South Kalimantan Province (Kalsel) said that the file for the examination of the case of Bhabinkamtibmas Polsek Limpasu in the ranks of the Hulu Sungai Tengah (HST) Police with the initials MI which has 0.5 kilograms (kg) of crystal methamphetamine was declared complete or P21.

"The case files are complete (P21)," said Head of the South Kalimantan BNNP Brigadier General Pol. Wisnu Andayana when confirmed in Barabai, Hulu Sungai Tengah, Saturday, June 28, confiscated by Antara.

According to the prosecutor's instructions, Wisnu explained that the case would soon be carried out in phase two, namely the submission of the suspect and evidence to the prosecutor's office in early July 2025.

Regarding the development of the case, Wisnu revealed that investigators from the South Kalimantan BNNP had not targeted a new suspect after MI's arrest about two months ago.

"There are no obstacles in the fingerprint process. We ensure that the file must be completely complete and sufficient evidence to anticipate the resistance from the suspect," said Wisnu.

Previously, South Kalimantan BNNP officers shot an unscrupulous Bhabinkamtibmas Limpasu Police with the initials MI for trying to escape during an arrest related to a drug case on Tuesday, April 29.

The police officer received intensive care at the H Damanhuri Barabai Hospital, then was referred to the Bhayangkara Hospital in Banjarmasin for further treatment.

Currently, the legal process against these police officers is still continuing and getting the spotlight from the wider community, due to the involvement of the authorities related to the narcotics network.
