Police Arrest Teacher Of Gaji In Tebet Allegedly Obscene 10 Santri

JAKARTA - The police arrested a Koran teacher suspected of molesting 10 of his female students in Kebon Baru Village, Tebet, South Jakarta.

Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Murohi, confirmed the incident. Currently, the perpetrator has been arrested by his side.

"(The perpetrator) has been arrested," said Murohil when confirmed, Sunday, June 29.

Currently, the perpetrators have been taken to the South Jakarta Metro Police, and further investigation is being carried out.

Based on the initial examination, said Murohih, the number of victims of the alleged molestation by the Koran teacher amounted to 10 people.

"For the time being there are 10 victims, it is possible that there are other victims," said Murohil.

The Technical Implementation Unit of the Jakarta Province Women and Children Protection Center (UPT PPPA). The goal is to coordinate regarding assistance expected by the victims.

"Furthermore, we will coordinate with parties related to the Social and UPTPPPA for victim assistance," he concluded
