KPK Duga Ada Lebih Dari Satu Vendor Dalam Kasus Korupsi Pengadaan EDC Bank Pemerintah

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that more than one vendor was involved in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of electronic data capture (EDC) machines at government banks.

"Indeed, there are several providers suspected of being involved in this case," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo at the KPK's Red and White Building, Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Friday, June 27.

However, Budi said that the KPK had not been able to convey the number of vendors suspected of being involved, including their identities.

"We will update the provider later (tell you, ed.)," he said.

He also admitted that he had not been able to inform the KPK investigators about the search activities for vendors related to the case.

"We can't convey this yet. Of course, we will update any developments that can be conveyed later," he explained.

When asked about the vendor suspected of being involved in the case, the same as other cases, namely the alleged corruption in the public gas station digitization project (SPBU), he said the KPK was still investigating and tracing the statements of witnesses and the results of the search.

"KPK is committed to continuing to explore, and immediately determine the parties responsible for this alleged corruption crime," he said.

One of the things being investigated, he said, was related to the use of EDC machines. For example, it is used only for certain areas.

"That includes the material being investigated, namely EDC anywhere which is then the result of the procurement process," he said.

Previously, KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto said that the anti-corruption agency was searching one of the state-owned banks in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Fitroh Rohcahyanto, revealed that the case allegedly occurred in 2023-2024.
