Police Immediately Hold Prokes Suspected Case Prokes At Cibis Park Music Concert

JAKARTA - The police immediately launched a case regarding the alleged violation of the health protocol that took place at Cibis Park, South Jakarta. The title of the case will determine whether there is an element of a criminal offense.

"After this, we will conduct a case title including examining several other witnesses to determine their status to the investigation level to determine who is responsible," South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Azis Andriansyah, told reporters, Tuesday, May 4.

The police have asked for information from 12 witnesses regarding the concert at CIbis Park. Those who were examined were directly involved in the event.

"We have examined witnesses and then the management from the owner of the location, including the event organizer, has examined a total of 12 people," said Kombes Azis.

In addition, the police also reminded the public not to organize events that could potentially cause crowds. Because the spread of COVID-19 in Jakarta is still high.

"Yes, awareness for all of us that we have warned since the initial pandemic, right. Since the initial pandemic we have reminded us that this is to show consistency, so if someone tries to try, we will continue to take firm action," he said.

As previously reported, the police said that the concert which took place in Cibis Park, South Jakarta (South Jakarta) did not have a permit. Because, the beginning of the concert activity was the UMKM bazaar.

However, due to the initiative of one of the people, this bazaar later changed the concept to a music concert.

"There was an initiative from one of the people, without permission without informing us of the change in the activity. So that the virus could not be controlled," said Azis.
