Juliana Marins Autopsied, Family Wants To Know The Cause Of Death Of A Brazilian Climber In Rinjani

Deputy Governor of NTB Indah Dhamayanti Putri revealed the purpose of the family asking for an autopsy on the body of Brazilian climber Juliana Marins, who was the victim of an accident on the Mount Rinjani hiking trail.

"The family wants to know the process of death for what reason. They just want to know when he died," said Indah after seeing the condition of Juliana's body at the Bhayangkara Hospital in Mataram, Thursday, June 26, reported by ANTARA.

This goal, he continued, would be the need for the family to complete the administration of Juliana's funeral in Brazil.

Juliana's autopsy has now been canceled from her previous plan at the Bhayangkara Mataram Hospital because the forensic doctor was in Semarang.

Therefore, the autopsy of the body will be carried out in Denpasar, Bali. Juliana's body is planned to be dispatched to Bali this afternoon by land using an ambulance belonging to the Bhayangkara Mataram Hospital.

"After the administration is complete, it will be dispatched by ambulance from Bhayangkara Mataram Hospital," he said.

The incident ofJuliana falling on the slopes of Mount Rinjani occurred on Saturday (21/6). The search was then carried out until the body was found by the joint SAR team on Tuesday (24/6) at a depth of 600 meters to the Lost Know Position (LKP).

The joint SAR team succeeded in evacuating Juliana's body, which eventually refused to use a helicopter, because the weather conditions were not friendly.

From the Pelawanan post, Juliana's body was carried to the Gunung Rinjani National Park (BTNGR) which is near the entrance to the hiking trail.
