Investigate Corruption In Revenue Of IDR 5 Billion, Kejari Searches Kendari Post Office

SULTRA - Kendari District Attorney's Office (Kejari) in Southeast Sulawesi Province (Sultra) searched the Kendari main branch of the Indonesian Post Office to investigate cases of alleged corruption in embezzlement of revenue funds amounting to Rp5 billion.

Kendari Kejari Head Ronal H. Bakara when met confirmed the search. "Yes, it's true (there was a search at the Kendari Main Branch of the Indonesian Post Office)," he said in Kendari, Wednesday, which was confiscated by Antara.

Ronal said that the search was carried out on suspicion of embezzlement of income funds obtained by the Kendari Main Branch of the Indonesian Post Office, which reached IDR 5 billion.

"There are allegations of embezzlement of income funds from the Post Office of around Rp. 5 billion," he said.

Even so, Ronal was reluctant to explain in detail the cases they were handling related to embezzlement at the Post Office. However, he said that the case had entered the investigation stage.

"Now it's an investigation," said Ronal.

It is known that the Kendari Kejari Special Criminal Section (Pidsus) Team conducted a search of the Kendari Main Branch of the Indonesian Post Office on Jalan Jendral Ahmad Yani, Anaiwoi Village, Kadia District, Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi Province (Sultra).

The search was carried out in several rooms, ranging from the financial and asset rooms, Human Resources (HR) rooms, to the Executive General Manager room of PT Pos Indonesia, Kendari Main Branch.

Based on observations, the results of the search, the Kendari Kejari Special Investigation Team brought a number of documents obtained from PT Pos Indonesia, Kendari Main Branch, to the Kendari Kejari to be followed up as material for investigating the alleged embezzlement of these income funds.
