Commemoration Of The 79th Bhayangkara Day Held At Monas, The National Police Apologizes For Mobilizing Activities

JAKARTA - The National Police apologize to the public regarding the potential for increasing traffic activity and density around the National Monument (Monas) area, Jakarta. This is because the commemoration of the 79th Bhayangkara Day will be held on July 1, 2025.

"We apologize and understanding from the public for the potential traffic activity that may occur as a result of the mobilization of a series of Bhayangkara Day activities. The National Police is committed to maintaining smoothness and security for all residents," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in his statement, Wednesday, June 25.

On the commemoration of the 79th Bhayangkara Day, President Prabowo Subianto plans to attend and lead directly as Inspector of Ceremonies.

In addition to the implementation of the ceremony, the 79th Bhayangkara Day will also be enlivened with parades and defiles of tactical police vehicles, as well as troop deployments involving large-scale mobilization of personnel and equipment.

This mobilization is expected to have a temporary impact on the flow of traffic around the Monas area and its surroundings.

Not only ceremonial, the National Police will also present nuances of togetherness with community involvement and participation through the deployment of community potential and community entertainment activities as well as MSME bazaars which are presented directly around the event area.

The presence of the community is an important part in the success of the Bhayangkara Day celebration as a party with the people.

Trunoyudo said the commemoration of Bhayangkara Day was not just an institutional ceremony, but also a form of reflection and responsibility from the Police in front of the people.

Hari Bhayangkara belongs to all Indonesian people. We seek to make this moment a form of institutional responsibility to the public, that the Police will continue to improve and serve wholeheartedly," he added.

This is in accordance with the commitment of the National Police Chief, General. Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, on the commemoration of the 79th Bhayangkara Day, the National Police will give their best, in line with the theme of this year's celebration, namely "Police for the community"

The National Police will also continue to coordinate with local governments and related parties to minimize the impact of activities on public activities.
