GORONTALO - The Gorontalo Province High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) team visited the North Sulawesi Bank branch office (BSG) and the house of former Gorontalo Mayor Marten Taha in Gorontalo City.

The team is looking for letters or documents related to the alleged corruption case of official travel (SPD) of Gorontalo City Government officials

Head of the Legal Information Section of the Gorontalo Prosecutor's Office, Dadang Djafar, said that his party visited the BSG branch office and searched for documents related to the alleged corruption case of the official trip.

"There are things that may be documents or data needed related to official travel. That is what we must explore," said Dadan as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 25.

Apart from Bank Sulutgo, the Gorontalo Prosecutor's Office Team also visited the house of former Gorontalo Mayor Marten Taha (MT).

"So we want to search MT's house, but there is no person concerned, so maybe this time we will turn right first. If the person is already there, we will return to search," said Dadang.

He explained that the Gorontalo Prosecutor's Office team had come a few days ago to the location, but the condition of the former mayor's private house for two periods was quiet with the condition of the front fence closed.

"He said that on Wednesday, but now it doesn't exist. Don't know Wednesday afternoon or evening," he said.

Previously, on Tuesday (24/6), the Gorontalo Prosecutor's Office conducted a search at the General Room at the Gorontalo Mayor's office.

The search is part of the initial investigation into the case. This case has been handled and investigated for three months, then three days ago its status has been raised to the investigation stage.
