Head of the NTB Information and Statistics Communications Agency (Kominfotik), Yusron Hadi, emphasized that anyone, both personally and legally, is not allowed to have ownership rights to the island.
"According to the rules, ownership of small islands, individuals and legal entities, is not allowed," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, June 23.
This affirmation was conveyed by Yusron Hadi in response to information on the sale of Panjang Island in Sumbawa Regency which was sold online or online via the website www.privateislandonline.com.
He said Pulau Panjang is a conservation area that is managed with the principles of sustainability principles. The rules are that its utilization is not allowed for cultivation activities.
"So the sale of this island can be categorized as illegal, let's obey the applicable rules together," said Yusron.
