Repairs Of Two Priority Roads In Lampung Have Been Completed

BANDAR LAMPUNG - Lampung Province Construction Highways Service (BMBK) stated that the repair process for two of the six roads in this province, which is a priority in infrastructure improvement, has been completed.

"The progress of repairing priority roads has so far been going well. And currently, two roads from the six priority roads that have been repaired have been completed. The two roads that have been completed are on the Jabung-Labuhan Maringgai section, and the Kotabumi-Bandarlampung section," said Head of the Lampung Province Highways Development Service (BMBK) Muhammad Taufiqullah, in Bandarlampung, Saturday.

He said the two roads, namely the Jabung-Labuhan Maringgai section, and the Kotabumi-Bandarlampung section were all in smooth condition, and his party was finishing the remaining four roads.

"The work of two roads that have finished flexible or using the type of hotmix asphalt, now it's just a job of rebate and markings. In this section there are two segments of flexible 3.05 kilometers of work consisting of segment one in STA 9+800-11+480 along 1.63 kilometers in Pempen Village, Gunung Pelindung Pelindung District, East Lampung Regency, and segment two in STA 13+871-15+300 along 1.42 kilometers in Nibung Village, Gunung Pelindung District, East Lampung Regency," he said again.

He continued to work on the other four roads, some were in the form of concrete rigids. And all of them have reached a progress of 50-70 percent.

"In some locations because it is adjusted to the condition of the area, it must use a concrete rigid, now the progress is 50-70 percent because it is waiting for the dry next to it. Because if the concrete rigidity is usually carried out alternately on the right side of the left so that traffic continues to run and is not hampered," he said again.

According to him, the average road construction with a concrete rigid has been completed on the one hand and is continuing to work on the other side.

"Two segments have been completed, the rest of the roads that are carried out using concrete rigids will be accelerated from the target work should be a maximum of six months, maybe it will be faster in the fourth month it has been completed," he said.

Previously, the Lampung Provincial Government targeted to repair 52 roads this year, but of these, six roads were proposed first as a priority to be handled within 100 working days of the Governor and Deputy Governor of Lampung.

The six roads include the Pringsewu-Kalirejo road section, the Kalirejo-Bawarejo road section, Bandar Jaya-Mandala road section, Kotabumi-Bandarlampung road section, Jabung-Labuhan Maringgai road section, and Metro-Tanjung Karang road section.
